1. Pepper – The Rat-Enemy

Baking soda affects the digestive system of the rats. The compound mixes with the acid and gastric juices of their stomach, causing inflammation. 17. Steel Wool
Mesh of steel or metal wool is something that keeps the rats away from entering the house.
